We are so blessed...
We are mindful we have all been in our 'kura bubbles' for nearly two years now and in some way, it does seem strange to be able to participate within our Kāhui Ako o Kōhanga Moa opportunities and wider.
Our AMAZING staff continue to get up everyday to come to our kura to make a difference for your tamariki. I wish to thank them ALL publically for being 'ordinary people who are achieving extraordinary things" over the past three terms. - Ka rawe koutou.
Term 4 is a 9 week term, which feels a bit scary as we still have all the "normal" term 4 events to cover. I know we will get there, as a team we are united and strong.
W10 Events include...
Taranaki X Country

Year 5 & 6 Basketball Champs
Congratulations to the year 5/6 Inglewood Mighty Moa Basketball team for winning Gold in the section 1 final tonight.
Massive Effort! Thank you all adults who have supported and coach the team.
EPro8 Challenge at IPS
This entailed reading a set of challenges that they could pick and spending two hours working together, problem solving, working out measurements and constructing scarecrows and concrete mixers. Every moment was filled with focus and determination to succeed.
The students had to create a scarecrow with hinged arms or a concrete truck with a rotating mixer on its back.
The groups were competing for the prized spot of entering the Interschool challenge on November 2nd at Devon Intermediate.
Kāhui Ako o Kōhanga Moa Kapa haka Festival
Whaea Donna and Whaea Mel who have been working together with Mr Reade and tamariki to prepare for today's performance which was AMAZING.
It was beautiful to see all kura coming together for the finale section as Kāhui Ako o Kōhanga Moa
IPS REACH Talent Show
Run Revolution
Today was the last run with students choosing to participate in the 3km or 5km events as they complete the programme.
Thanks Hayden for choosing IPS as part of your Pilot Programme, we have absolutely loved it and highly recommend it.
