Principal Note
Parent/Teacher Conferences—ZOOM links
Whether your child is learning on a remote or in-person format, all parent/teacher conferences next week are set up through ZOOM video conferencing. Please reference the informational sheet attached to the Munhall Bulletin for step-by-step details on how to access the personalized ZOOM link for your video conference. Again, parents must sign-up for conferences through Pick-A-Time, which remains open through October 7th. For information regarding conferences with specials teachers, please see the section below.
Conference Scheduling for Specials Teachers
If you would like to meet with one or more of your child’s specials teachers, please email them directly to set up a conference time. Our specials teachers teach in numerous settings this year, including multiple schools and/or in-person and remotely, and this will ensure that you are able to find a time that works for everyone involved.

iReady Data
Earlier this fall, all K-5th grade in-person and remote learners took part in the iReady Diagnostic Assessment in both reading and math. On Monday, all in-person learners will receive an envelope in their backpack, which contains their individual student reports from their iReady assessments. Included in the envelope will be an information sheet explaining the assessment, as well as a reference guide for interpreting the student report. Families of remote students will receive the iReady information via mail.
Breathable Mesh Pouches for Face Covering Storage
As we continue to follow guidelines from the health department, taking the appropriate steps to keep our students and staff safe, all students received a breathable mesh pouch earlier this week as the primary means of storing our face coverings when outdoors for PE or recess. This step was made as we continue to prioritize mitigation measures.
Coats and Jackets
Please continue to send your child to school with appropriate outwear (jacket, coat, fleece, etc.) Even as temperatures drop, we will continue to send our students outside for PE and mask breaks.
Family Resources—Holiday Giving Support
Thank you to those families who have responded to the Google Form I sent on Monday. If you haven’t, your response would be appreciated by the end of the day.
NO School on Thursday, October 8th and Friday, October 9th
There will be no school for students next Thursday and Friday due to Parent/Teacher conferences.

Kindergarten students can order take home meals
