Springmill STEM Family Update
February 12, 2023
Hello STEM Families!
What a beautiful weekend! I hope the kids got out and got some fresh air, I know I needed some. As you know, many students struggle with focus at school. Making sure they get to move around every day, and outside is ever better, can make a big difference in their ability to focus.
We will be having our Family Mystery Math Night on Wednesday March 8 from 5:30-7. Families will be solving math mysteries together to fill up their passports. Passports are turned in for prize drawings at the end of the night. We will be having pizza, punch and dessert for everyone as well. We hope to see you there!
Parent teacher conferences went very well last Thursday and we are looking forward to seeing everyone this Thursday. If you haven't signed up with your teacher, there is still time! Contact your teacher if you missed your meeting or need to sign up for a time.
We have been getting questions about enrollment for next year at Springmill STEM. All current and future students will need to fill out an informational questionnaire so that we can organize all of the information. Future new students will be contacted by the school for a tour and meeting with a staff member to discuss the program so families can make an informed decision about our STEM program. Here is the link to the form that needs to be submitted by all students for the 2023-2024 school year: https://forms.gle/AenwUjR63sM4SAi77.
Warm weather is expected again this week! We are looking forward to students being outside and running around in fresh air for recess. There is some water and potential of mud. Remember, students need a clean pair of shoes for gym class (no boots, crocks, sandals, etc).
Thank you,
Cara Will
