Superintendent's Message
Loveland Tiger Community,
We are heading into the final few weeks of 2023, and I’m encouraged by everything that’s unfolded so far this school year.
Loveland City School District earned a Five-Star Report Card from the State of Ohio for our outstanding academic achievement. Also, more of our Loveland Schools have been named “Best Schools” by US News and World Report - you can read about that below. These are great reminders that when it comes to our core mission of educating students, the students, families, staff, and community of Loveland City School District work together to accomplish amazing things.
We’ve also launched our community engagement campaign to reach out to the entire Loveland City School District community. We have hosted two Town Halls this school year and will announce dates soon for two more. We are listening and gathering feedback from our community so we can move forward together.
After each Town Hall, we summarize what we’ve heard in a Feedback Report. You can read each of them on our website at lovelandschools.org/engage. You can also visit our website and complete a quick survey to give us your thoughts about how we’re doing.
I’m excited to be moving into the holiday season and to have an opportunity to spend time with my family and friends. I wish the best to you and our entire Loveland City School District community.
As always, email me if you have any questions: broadwmi@lovelandschools.org.
Go Tigers!

Celebrate Grandparents and Great Influences in Loveland
Loveland City School District is launching a new effort to recognize the importance of grandparents and other older community members. “Grandparents and Great Influences” events will be taking place at all of our buildings during December. Each student will have an opportunity to spend time at school with a grandparent or another person who has been a great influence in their life.
“My parents were an important influence on my life, but as I look back, I realize that grandparents, older relatives, and other family friends also played a big role in making me who I am today. Loveland City School District wants to celebrate the grandparents and other great influences who are investing time, attention, and love into our students,” Superintendent Mike Broadwater said.
Look for photos from this event in next month's Community Newsletter from Loveland City Schools.

Pass It On Food Drive
During this year's Pass It On Food Drive, Loveland students and staff donated over 6,000 food items, including mountains of stuffing, potatoes, cranberry sauce, and more. Thanks to those donations and additional support from local churches and businesses, LIFE Food Pantry created food baskets for local families in need. The Pass It On Food Drive is celebrating its 22nd year!
We always talk to students about our district’s Core Values of Care, Respect, and Responsibility. The Pass It On Food Drive is an excellent example of what it means to live those values. Thank you to everyone who donated and the volunteers who helped coordinate this big undertaking!
Excited to drop off food!

Thanks for Supporting Volley for the Cure!
Our Loveland High School Volleyball program raised over $7,500 to support the Ohio Volley for the Cure. The National Breast Cancer Awareness Month event helped raise money for the Susan G.
