STEM in Early Learning Classrooms
STEM Workshop with Kate Hellenthal
This one day workshop is for prekindergarten through first grade teachers and will consist of four sessions focused on implementing and enhancing STEM instruction in the early learning classroom.
This hands-on day of learning will include sessions on the following:
- Explore and plan different methods through which the 5E cycle can be implemented
- Learn how to embed robust block play into the early learning classroom
- Explore multi-level interchangeable science centers that help build more organic learning experiences in a STEM classroom
- The importance of building STEM connections beyond the classroom
(lunch on your own)
6 STARS STEM Credit is available
6 STEM Clock Hours available ($2 per clock hour - $10 minimum)
