McKinley School Update

Hopefully this SMORE finds you well and enjoy the last week of your vacation. I am sure most will agree that the time passed quickly and additional vacation time is desired. Nonetheless, it's just about time to return to return to school. School starts on August 14th.

This week, families will start to receive a packet of information from the McKinley school office with a lot of important information. Please be sure to read the information carefully.

Good news, the roofing project is near completion. What does that mean? It is projected that the entire roofing project will be completed by August 14th, the first day of student attendance. In the meantime, as we prepare to return to campus, please note that the crew is busy at work completing the roof on the A and C buildings, replacing the gutters, removing the roofing supplies from the playground, power-washing the building, tending to the landscape and finalizing campus clean up.

It is important that everyone exercise caution while on campus.

• Please do not wear open toe shoes
• Remember to hydrate frequently
• The smell of tar may be strong
• Please remain patient at all times
