Message From the Principal
Crusader Families,
We have made it through another quarter at BVM! I wish you and your families a restful and enjoyable spring break. When we return, we will be preparing for state testing, which will happen in May, and we will begin to prepare our 8th grade students for promotion. We still have a lot of work to do and there is PLENTY of time for students to raise grades and pass classes so they can be eligible to participate in promotion.
Please continue to encourage your students to work hard, do their best and pass all of their classes. Students return to school on Monday, April 4th.
Sincerely,
Teresa Kramer

School Highlights
Welcoming our Future Crusaders!
It was a pleasure welcoming our future Crusaders on this Future Crusader night! Thank you to band, mariachi, choir, and cheerleaders for their amazing performances.
BVM Robotics
On Sunday March 13th, the two BVM robotics teams competed in the VEX Robotics State Championship at Montgomery High School. Team A, Miguel Araiza, Connor Broas, Noah Burdick, Gio George, and Jewel Lasig qualified for state through their excellent performance in the Robot Skills portion of the competition. Team B, Jazzmine Adame, Devin Alonzo-Punzal, Kenji Cassel-Engen, and Spencer Macias qualified for state by winning the Sweetwater Middle League Championships. In this competition they faced off against the best teams in Southern California. After seven matches, Team A ended up in 15th place out of 44 teams. Team B had some mechanical issues but pressed on to finish in 42nd. Team A made it into the championship matches winning their first match easily, but had a heartbreaking loss in the quarterfinals. Both did did an excellent job representing BVM in their performance and conduct. Great work teams!
Congratulations Ms. Schroeder! BVM's 2021-22 Teacher of the Year!
