BOYS AND GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY
The Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams competed at the Cherokee Challenge this past weekend. There were over 150 teams competed. Top 30 athletes medaled in each class race.
Medal earners were:

GIRLS TENNIS
Girls tennis had an up and down week. They started with a 5-0 win over OLMA on Tuesday and finished with a 3-2 loss to Absegami on Thursday. In the OLMA match, Camille More, Belina Zhang, and Demi Lu all won in straight sets in their singles matches. First doubles Kylee Biel & Lily Ferriola were impressive in their win and second doubles Olivia Liang & freshman Makayla Henderson out-hustled their opponents for a 6-1, 6-4 win.
The Absegami match was so close! Three out of the five varsity matches went to tiebreakers in the three hour long match! Freshman Camille More defeated a 2-time CAL first teamer in a nailbiter 3-6, 7-5, 10-4. Second singles Belina Zhang played well in a 7-5, 6-2 loss. Third singles Demi Lu played a marathon match before losing 3-6, 6-3, 10-8. First doubles Kylee Biel / Lily Ferriola went to a 2nd set tiebreaker in their 6-4, 7-6 loss. Second doubles Olivia LIang / Makayla Henderson held on in a close 2nd set win 6-0, 7-5.
Coming up this weekend is the Stockton Invitational tournament. The team is improving each match and hopes to improve on their 1-3 record.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Girls' volleyball played a tough Cedar Creek team Tuesday in front of a raucous crowd. JV won in 3 sets and Varsity won in 2 sets. Senior Keona Estaris had 2 aces to close out the 1st set and Averie Harding looked spry and had 5 kills. We take on an athletic Pleasantville team Friday 9/15 at them.
Girls' volleyball played Lower Cape May on Thursday. JV won in 2 sets and Varsity won in 3 sets.

9/22 HOME MATCH vs Absegami - freshmen and JV at 4:00 and V at 5:15. It's a Friday - come on out and support the Lady Eagles.

GIRLS SOCCER
BOYS SOCCER
The Boys Soccer team kicked off it's season last week against their biggest Divisional Rival, St. Augustine Prep. EHT played extremely tough, taking the Hermits into double overtime before giving up a goal in the 95th minute. Sophomore, Gio Bongiorno, scored the Eagles game tying goal. Goalie Chris Minshall kept the Eagles in the game, standing on his head at time and making 10 saves.
EHT traveled to Ocean City this past Tuesday and gave the Red Raiders a scare. EHT scored quickly and went up on the Raiders 2 nil early in the first half. Senior Ryan Evenson scored early after applying relentless pressure on the opposing defense. EHT was granted an own goal off of a Raider head. The Eagles would go on to lose 4-3. Senior, Mathew Sanchez scored the third Eagle goal from a beautiful assist from Angel Mendoza.
On Thursday the Eagles traveled to ACIT looking for it's first win of the season. After 80 grueling minutes, the Eagles were victorious by a score of 1nil. Eagles' lone goal came off the head of Carlos Ramirez, assisted by Ryan Evenson. The Eagles are 1-3 on the season. Next week the Eagles host Division rivals, Vineland, Hammonton and Millville. All three games will be played in Silver Eagle Stadium.
FIELD HOCKEY
Varsity Field Hockey is now 1-1. We defeated Williamstown 3-0 and lost to OC 2-0.
Goal scorers against Williamstown were Gabby HIltner, Makena Kalita, and Jenna Gray. Assists by Jenna Gray, Madison Fortis, and Skylar Wood.
Against OC, we fought hard and Semra Alabarda played outstanding in goal with over 20 saves.
JV field hockey is 1-0 with a win over Williamstown 1-0.
Freshman field hockey is 0-1 with a loss against OC.

Registration Dates:
- Please review the appropriate registration dates for your interested season found on the registration page.
- All registrations for EHT Athletic programs must be completed online through the Family ID Program.
Physical Exams:
- You do not need a physical to register, but must have an exam uploaded seven days prior to your first tryout.
- Physicals are valid for one year. For summer workouts, physicals dated 7/1/22 or later are valid. For fall sports, physicals dated on 9/1/22 or later are valid. If the physical was done prior to these dates, you must obtain a new physical

- No hard copies, emails or faxes will be accepted.
- Re-Cert packets and COVID Forms are now part of the registration question/process. No hard copies needed.
