Join us in the school gym TONIGHT, March 10th to watch a game of 8th grade basketball players vs. coaches! This is an old St. Eugene tradition we are bringing back. All families are invited to come cheer on coaches and players during the game, as well watch the 3-pointer and free throw shootouts! The concession stand will be open, and the Athletic Commission will have some awesome Eagle swag available for purchase. Pre-Game starts at 6pm, main event at 7pm. Check out the flier!

Spring break begins now! No school next week OR the following Monday, March 20th. The Monday following Spring Break, March 20th, is a professional day for teachers. We will see all our students back in class on Tuesday, March 21st. Stay safe, and enjoy a week of relaxation, Eagles!

Guardians of 2nd-8th grade students, please make sure you check your student’s backpack for their SALT permission slip, and have it ready to return to school after Spring Break. If your classroom teachers have asked for drivers or volunteers, and you have current Safe Environment, please let your class teacher know! Volunteering on SALT Day of Service is incredibly rewarding and a wonderful experience to share with your child.

Also, look for your old SALT shirt, and have it clean and ready to go for the end of the month!

Our yearbook committee is working on your 2022-23 St. Eugene yearbook! We are excited to capture this year's memories! Each copy is a beautifully bound, full color hardback book. There will be at least 50 full color pages! Please complete the yearbook order form for EACH COPY you wish to order. Yearbooks are $25 each. ***Deadline to order is April 2nd***

It’s time for the CSSE Dads’ Club March Madness bracket challenge! Fill out a bracket ($20 each), and root for your team to win so YOU can win! Prize is your name engraved on the winner’s belt AND 40% of the pot. The remaining 60% will go toward CSSE gym improvements. Check out the March Madness flyer, and share with friends and family. On March 23rd, the National Evangelization Team will be coming to provide an all day Lenten Retreat for our middle school students in grades 6th-8th. The cost is $20 (if you have more than one middle school student the second student is only $10) and will include a pizza lunch. Please send your money in an envelope marked NET retreat with your child’s name. You may send cash or a check made out to CSSE. Please drop the money off in the school office or your child can bring to Mrs. Ison. Please send the payment by Tuesday, March 21st.

Save the date for the annual Wonderfully Made Conference on Saturday, April 1st! Mothers with daughters ages 9-12 are invited to attend together to learn about topics like Theology of the Body, nutrition, and Natural Family Planning. This is a free, bilingual event, but space is limited! Register for the conference today! Wonderfully Made will be at the Catholic Pastoral Center, 9 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023.

Congrats to all our middle school basketball teams who competed in the State Tournament this past weekend! All of our teams played hard and gave their best. Special kudos go out to our 8th grade boys who played with St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton School this season. They worked together to earn 3rd place in a tough bracket! Tournament team members include Jack Frame, Elliott Hattaway, Bryson Rudd, and Jackson Stone.

It was a great basketball season! The following teams all placed 2nd or tied for 2nd in the regular basketball season: 5th grade girls, 6th grade girls, 7th grade boys, and 8th grade boys playing with SEAS!

Come Exercise Your Creative Muscles! Join us Mar. 31 and May 5 at 9:30am in the Atrium to help prepare materials for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. No need to be a celebrated artist. Still Need Safe Environment? We still have a lot of people wanting to volunteer who have not completed Safe Environment. ALL ARCHDIOCESAN/PARISH/SCHOOL EMPLOYEES & ADULT VOLUNTEERS who have contact with minors or vulnerable adults must complete the new online Safe & Sacred Training (2020) including a background check. Until all steps have been completed in the online training portal, employees and volunteers may not serve at the parish/school or organization. Please complete this google form to send in your name and email address to Jennifer Goodrich so that she can send you information to begin the process! You must have updated SE if you plan on driving on field trips, being a homeroom parent, or coaching a team, etc.
