Falcon Express Update to Families
December 3, 2023
Message from Principal Higgs
Dear Falcon Families,
I hope this message finds you well. Thank you for your support during Teach-In 2023. We had impressive guest teachers, and our students were thankful for the unique experiences shared throughout the day. I was delighted to see so many families at the 4.0 Falcon recognition ceremony. Thank you for attending and supporting our 4.0 Falcons. I look forward to recognizing even more 4.0 Falcons during the next quarter awards ceremony.
Progress Reports are now posted on Skyward for your viewing. Please review your student's progress often and contact his or her teacher for any concerns. We are nearing the end of this quarter, and testing will begin the week of December 11, 2023. Please view the schedule in the events and activities section.
Many activities are approaching that will highlight our students' many talents. Please be sure to review the events and activities section for more information. Our December School Advisory Council (SAC) meeting will occur in the media center on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at 5:00 PM. We invite you to attend, as all voices matter, and this is the best platform to share concerns, ask questions, and put forth suggestions. In the upcoming meeting, we will be discussing the transition from Pre-IB courses to the officially recognized International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme. It would be my pleasure to discuss this upcoming change with you all.
Thank you for your continued support, and we hope you have a PRIDE-filled week.
Sincerely,
Principal Higgs

Campus Procedure Information
Please be advised that for your child's safety, we request that drop-offs on campus should not occur before 9:05 AM. Before this time, no supervision is available, and leaving students unsupervised is considered negligent. We kindly request your cooperation in ensuring your child's safety by not leaving them unattended on campus before 9:05 AM. If you arrive early, please stay with your child until 9:05 AM, when campus supervision begins.
Also, we would like to remind you that we don't accept student drop-offs in the front office, including forgotten items such as books, homework, jackets, lunches, etc.. This policy is in place to prevent our front office staff from being overwhelmed with student items and to ensure the safe and timely delivery of these items to the students. Please help us maintain an efficient system by adhering to this policy.
