Carver's Weekly Update
Week of Monday, March 6, 2023
Carver Parents/Guardians,
Lunch Drop-Off
Students will not be allowed to leave class and go to the office in the middle of class instruction to pick up a lunch box or a lunch from a local restaurant. If parents drop off lunch, students will be instructed to pick up their lunch on their way to the cafeteria for their designated lunch time. Please also note that dropping off lunch from a local restaurant should only be done for a special occasion and not daily.
Chromebook Usage
Chromebooks should be used for school purposes only. We receive GoGuardian alerts when students go to inappropriate websites or when they type/search for inappropriate content. If we find that there is a pattern of this type of behavior, students will receive consequences for this. Please support us by monitoring how students are using their devices while at home.
Dress Code
As the warm weather continues, please be mindful of the school’s dress code that is listed in the student agenda and the District’s Code of Conduct. We will follow the “skin test” or “fingertip rule” to determine if skirts and shorts are the appropriate length. We ask for your cooperation in allowing your child to do the “skin test” when you have concerns about whether the length of the clothing is appropriate for school.
Thank you!
J. Little
Principal
