Mustang Monday Message
Dear Mustang Family,
I hope you all had a fantastic Super Bowl Weekend!
As we approach Valentine's Day next Wednesday, I wanted to share some guidelines regarding our school's celebration.
We will indeed be celebrating Valentine's Day as a school. Students are encouraged to participate by bringing valentines to share with their classmates. However, to ensure inclusivity and a positive learning environment, we kindly request that if a student chooses to bring valentines, they should bring one for each student in their class.
Please be aware that we will not be facilitating the exchange of special valentines from students and family members at school. Such exchanges have been known to cause distractions and have led to various issues in the past. Therefore, we kindly ask for your cooperation in adhering to this guideline.
Additionally, I am excited to inform you that our newsletter company, Smore, now allows you to translate these messages into a variety of languages. Simply click on the "translate" button at the top of the newsletter, and it will translate the entire message for you. I have attached a picture below for your reference. If you need any assistance with this feature, please do not hesitate to let us know.
Thank you for your understanding and support in making our Valentine's Day celebration enjoyable and harmonious for all!

Querida familia Mustang,

Responsible Kindergarten Citizens
In Kindergarten we learned the importance of being a responsible citizen in all of our different roles which included our homes, communities, and our planet. We used our knowledge to complete a shared partner writing. We loved helping and supporting each other with this task!
Sounds Waves in 4th Grade
This week in 4th grade students have been learning about sound. They have learned that sound is a vibration and that it travels in waves. Students learned that higher the sound the more oscillations. Students demonstrated their understanding of waves by using jump ropes and showing how sound waves travel.
Preschool Learners
This month preschool is talking about clothes. We have loved washing, drying, and ironing clothes at preschool. We are also talking about the different clothes we wear for each season.

School Safety
- We kindly request your valuable assistance in teaching our students to use crosswalks. We have experienced a few close calls with young students dashing across the street without checking for cars. While we acknowledge that using crosswalks may not always be the most convenient option, your collaboration in modeling the use of crosswalks is essential to ensuring the safety of our students. Thank you for your help!
- In order to be on the playground before, during, or after school, you will need to check in at the office. This helps us keep our students safe.
Algunos recordatorios:
