The BCHS Jag PRIDE Newsletter: A New BCHS Tradition
We are so excited to bring your our first edition of The BCHS Jag PRIDE Newsletter. BCHS is an incredible place where students are learning, growing, and challenging themselves each and every day. To better capture and celebrate the incredible things that happen BCHS while also keeping our community informed of up coming events and new information, we decided to create this newsletter! The BCHS Jag PRIDE Newsletter will be shared monthly with our families to foster communication, community, and Jaguar PRIDE!

BCHS Student Government
This past Tuesday, August 30th Stugo members attended the 2022 Fall Spirit Conference at Pinnacle Peak High School. This year's theme was, “Follow the Leadership road,” and our Stugo members “rocked” their costumes. It was a great opportunity to start the upcoming school year successfully. Students participated and effectively interacted in leadership activities and were inspired by fantastic guest motivational speakers (Jesse LeBeau and Russ Peak). Stugo members are very excited to implement what they learned.

Our Staff
BCHS is a Professional Learning Community!
Most Friday's during the school year, students get out just a bit early to allow for our teachers to collaborate and support student learning. The 90 minutes that are dedicated to DVUSD PLC time are crucial to BCHS student learning and success. Teachers meet in level teams to collaborate on designing instruction, assessment, and analyzing student data to determine which supports are needed to help our students learn essential course skills. Teachers use this information to adjust classroom instruction, to design targeted intervention or open student sessions for Flex Time, and to create next steps to rally around students and their learning!
