Arrival & Dismissal Procedures
In order to ensure the safety of our students and families, here are some important reminders about student arrival and dismissal.
- Pull all the way forward: This prevents backup in the street. Please do not stop at the gate.
- Stay in your car if you are in the drop off lane: If you need to help your child out of the car, please park your car and walk your child to the gate. We cannot have any parents park or step out of their vehicle in the drop off lane.
- Students only exit on the right side of the car. Students are only allowed to exit on the curb side of the car. They may not get out on the pull though lane side or the parking lot side and walk around your vehicle.
- Use the crosswalk: When pulling up to unload your child using the island on Corona Avenue, please do not cross the drop off lane. Use the crosswalk.
- Front parking lot closed: Students can not be dropped off or picked up from the front parking lot.
- Back Parking Lot: Students are not permitted to walk through the back parking lot alone. Please get out of your vehicle and meet your child at the gate or inside the yellow pylons.

Speak Up for Student Safety
CNUSD families, as an ongoing support to our commitment to safe schools for all, we are excited to announce the launch of a new Speak Up for Safety tip line that will allow students to easily and confidentially report threats of violence, bullying, peers in crisis, and other imminent concerns that affect students’ well-being and security.
The Speak Up for Safety tip line will be continually monitored by safety professionals, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, all year long. Non-life-threatening tips will be quickly routed to designated school or district staff members, and in severe situations, district-appointed contacts will be immediately notified to take action. In the most urgent cases in which a student is in immediate danger and representatives are unable to notify a district-appointed contact, law enforcement will be contacted to intervene.
CNUSD Speak Up for Safety tip line can be called or text at 951-589-0600 or emailed to speakup@students.cnusd.k12.ca.us
