This Wednesday is ASH WEDNESDAY, the beginning of Lent. The three pillars of Lent are prayer, fasting and almsgiving. Prayer, of course, strengthens our relationship with God. Fasting puts the focus on what is truly needed for our Christian discipleship and what distracts from it. Almsgiving helps us practice charity to become more aware of the needs of others.
Each of us has particular Lenten practices that are personally meaningful.
As you consider your personal Lenten disciplines for this year, it becomes meaningful to think of them them in terms of prayer, fasting and/or almsgiving. I hope that this season affords you the opportunity to grow in faith and love as family.

The auction is fast approaching and we need your help! We are in need of event tickets for silent auction. Who has or knows someone with Cardinal tickets, St Louis Blues, The Muny, etc they would like to donate? Please ask away!
As many of you know, this event helps the school as well as the Parish. It is a huge fundraiser that needs your help.

Auction Baskets
We are still in need of volunteers to put together the class baskets for the 2021 SCB Auction. Each class will have $300 for the baskets, which will come from fees collected as part of tuition. The volunteers will purchase items and submit to Jeannie for reimbursement. Once we have all of the slots filled, we will connect with everyone and figure out the themes for each basket.
