Registration Dates: Registrations for the course are being accepted now through February 18th.


Course Dates: The course officially begins on the date you select for your first session!


Course Format: 5 Google Meet Sessions + 5 Lesson Ideas Submitted on Google Classroom


Times: 4:30 - 5:30 pm (PST)


Credit Options:

  • 1 SUU Graduate-Level, General Professional Development (OR)
  • 15 Hours Professional Learning Hours (OR)
  • Attend the sessions you would like and earn hours based on how many you attend.


Cost:

  • $23.00 paid directly to SUU
  • Free for Professional Learning Hours

Online Collaboration Depot

Together, we'll craft a lesson that harnesses the power of these digital tools! Learn how AI can facilitate group work by automating project management.

GeoTools Landmark Loop

We'll dive deep into the endless possibilities offered by Google Maps, Google Earth, and Google Arts and Culture, discovering how these powerful tools can enhance learning across various subjects. Get your conductor's hat on and craft a lesson that brings the world to your students! This class will focus on another futuristic tool: AR with virtual field trips.

Presentation Hub

As we chug through the landscape of presentation tools, we'll explore how these versatile platforms, including Nearpod, empower students to share their ideas and engage in dynamic discussions. Get ready to embark on this train of interactive presentations! Learn how AI can assist in designing interactive presentations!

Digital Assessment Express

Join us on this journey where assessment becomes a breeze. We'll explore a variety of digital assessment platforms, including Discovery Education's Quiz, Google Practice Sets, and Google Forms. Uncover the power of auto-grading and immediate feedback, and by the end of this ride, you'll be ready to craft your own digital assessment masterpiece! Discover how AI can revolutionize digital assessments.

Choice Board Oasis

Prepare for out final stop that puts student voice and choice at the forefront. In this scenic route, we'll explore various ways to offer digital choices using the multitude of applications covered throughout the course. Your final destination? Designing a choice board that empowers your students with the freedom to chart their learning adventures!
