The Board meeting video was flagged by YouTube for "Medical Misinformation" and they notified the District that "Your content December 13, 2021 - Regular Board Meeting was removed due to a violation of our Community Guidelines." After appeal, YouTube stated: "Our review confirmed that this content violates YouTube's Community Guidelines. No further appeal is possible." The District does not keep an additional copy of the video. Minutes from the meeting will be available once approved by the Board.

Public Hearing
President Bruno noted that the 2021 levy has been on file and conveniently available for public inspection beginning November 16, 2021. To date, the District had not received any verbal or written comments on the 2021 levy.
No public comment was presented.

Presentation
FY 2021 Audit Presentation
Assistant Superintendent for Finance, Facilities and Operations Eric DePorter introduced Matt Beran from the District’s auditing firm Lauterbach & Amen. Mr. Beran presented details of the District 41 financial audit.

Superintendent’s Report
Dr. Kaczkowski gave an overview of a presentation about District 41 language programs that she and Assistant Superintendent for Teaching, Learning and Accountability Dr. Katie McCluskey gave during a AASA national webinar.
The Superintendent walked the Board through three types of plans within District 41 focused on crisis preparedness -- Emergency Operations Plan, Threat Assessment Plan and the Crisis Plan.
Dr. Kaczkowski celebrated the live music performances that have been taking place throughout the month of December. The performances are also being live streamed and shared with families, staff and the community.
She also presented an update on the District 41 Strategic Plan process.
In addition, Dr. Kaczkowski shared that she participated in a recent Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) webinar. IDPH has made a recommendation to the governor related to school based testing and quarantine. The superintendents also asked about the mask mandate and asked what the metric would be when making decisions about masks in the future.

Dr. Kaczkowski asked that this item be deferred in order to better understand what the future holds related to IDPH no longer recommending weekly testing.
