A Note from Mrs. Williams
What a fun week it has been! While I'm sad to think about the year ending, I do love the fun that we get to have with our students as we wrap up the year. Our Field Day was a success this week thanks to our hard working PE teachers, Mrs. Withers and Mr. Arnold. Our Kinder-1st graders also had their version of career day, Community Helpers Day. Our counselor, Mrs. Martinez, did a wonderful job arranging this for our youngest Spurs.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but next week is our last week of school, and there are many events that we'd love for you to be a part of.
Monday is our 1st-4th grade awards ceremonies, while our Kindergarten and 5th grade award ceremonies are on Tuesday. Please see the graphics below for the specific times. Don't forget to RSVP to expedite the check-in process and to bring your driver's license.
On Wednesday, our previous Spurs who are now seniors at Eaton High School will be walking our Schluter hallways for the final time at 8:00am. If you have a senior, we'd love for you to join us.
Grave level end-of-year parties are also happening on Wednesday or Thursday. Please also RSVP so that we can expedite the check-in process. We'd love to see our families join us!
The last day of school is on Friday, May 26th, with an early release time at 11:40am. We hope our 5th grade parents can join us to "clap out" our 5th graders for the final time at 11:25am. Be sure to arrive early to secure your spot in our AMP hallway. Feel free to bring your signs, noisemakers, and cheers as we celebrate our 5th graders moving on to middle school!
Have a great weekend, and let's make our final week the best week!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Williams
