What's Up At The Nest...

Principal's Message

OMS Families,

Oh, the weather outside is frightful...but the nest is so delightful! We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving week and are ready for the holiday season! We can't believe there are only two weeks left of school before winter break. This year we will have our annual Storytime with the Principals on Friday, December 20th. We have partnered with the Meals on Wheels organization and our students will be making cards that will be delivered along with the meals. Science Club - Winter Session!

Science Club is returning for a winter session with new projects and old favorites. Science Club meets on Tuesdays or Wednesdays from 3:45 to 4:45 in the window hallway outside the LMC. The winter session will run from January through March. Please see the forms below for session descriptions and registration:

MAP Testing

The Winter MAP testing window is December 2nd-December 20th. All students grades 2nd-5th will be taking the MAP testing in both reading and math.

Get Burbed Challenge!

Do you love to draw and flex those creative muscles? Enter the t-shirt and poster design contest for the 9th annual ABC/25 Get Burbed Challenge! Any District 25 student can participate! The winning design will be featured on the promo posters and race day t-shirt!
