Mrs. Graham passed the Compass Award to Mr. G this week for setting the direction at Eastside. She said: “I would like to pass the Compass Award to someone who is always willing to go the extra mile for students. This person works with a special young man in my class, and makes sure that he is finding new successes. This person also incorporates the student’s interests by getting books from the library to extend and support his learning. I personally enjoy his daily “Good Mornings” and friendly smile. Thank you Mr. Grantham for being such a warm light in our building!”
Character Word of the Month
Eastside's Behavior Matrix
The matrix is what we use to shape our behavior! These matrixes are posted in every classroom and throughout the building. Please review the behavior expectations with your child at home, especially for the areas of the classroom, hallway, and playground! Every morning would be a great time to remind your child to be safe at school and kind to others!
Eastside students and staff achieved top 6-10% in achievement last Spring! Top 6-10% means that our students achieved at levels higher than the majority of the state, and that is evidence of everyone's hard work! Way to go!
