Well done Indigo class, you continue to make us proud each week.
Teal class had an amazing time enjoying the beautiful sunshine with lots of opportunities for the outdoor learning. Students enjoyed bike rides, Zac, Zara and Luke are very independent now in using tricycles. They are also happy to wear bike helmets to stay safe. All the class had fantastic time during music session with David. Nana was amazing at playing on the piano, Lulu loved playing on the guitar and signing and Ritma enjoyed the drum. Even though, the class is very noisy during this session all students are always happy to participate, explore instruments and interact with staff and each other. This is amazing, well done!

This week has been very difficult to nominate one star of the week as they all have been amazing! But instead, we would like to nominate “Bluebell parents” as star of the week. We had a lovely morning event with them and they had a great time. After talking about ‘adult stuff’ we went to the playground and we enjoyed playing with the children! Thank you very much for coming and we can’t wait to have you in school again!
This week, Hebe class would like to celebrate Jack for persevering and having a great attitude towards all tasks and activities, even the ones he finds somewhat tricky. Well done, Jack!
Connor is Orchid Class 'Star of the Week' for excellent problem solving skills. Connor realised that he had sat in a friend's chair by mistake. He stood up and went to find his own chair independently!
This week has been very exciting in Marigold we have had Voice in a million for five of our pupils, we have made mothers day Chocolate and cards. This week we want to celebrate Ruby as she was very independent and mature when on her school Trip to Voice in a million she also was able to wear her hearing aids for the whole of the concert which is a very big achievement for Ruby Well done!
Bamboo's star of the week is Katie. Katie has been strongly advocating for herself this week, using her voice to express her thoughts and who she would like to be work along side.
Lily Class Start of the Week is Rayan for trying really hard to imitate the play of others in the playground by rolling hoops and attempting to join their game of football. Rayan is trying really hard to communicate with his peers and showing real desire to join them in play. Well done Rayan!
Sunflower and Tulip class came together as one class this week and had a great time. We enjoyed swimming altogether on Monday morning and in the afternoon had a sensory massage story and games. On Tuesday we participated in write dance and a fantastic speaking and listening choosing session in the morning. In the afternoon we had a special visitor in to do sensory dance with us and we especially liked the gold foil blankets. Wednesday morning we had trampolining, music and movement and sensology. In the afternoon we went to the park to select flowers to print for our artwork. It has been great for the pupils to mix together and they have all been happy experiencing different activities. Sunflower class' star of the week is Freddie for being so responsive to working with unfamiliar adults and showing great communication with them. Tulip's star of the week is Jeysha for her recognition with familiar adults and peers. As she has got to know more adults and peers in the playground she is now approaching them and interacting with them when she sees them around the school which is terrific.
Daisy class has had a wonderful week. They have enjoyed participating in their Sports and Fitness class assembly and showing their peers all the different ways in which they develop their physical skills. Charlie is Daisy Class star of the week. Charlie has worked really hard to remain alert and engaged in his learning. Comic Relief Update
Thank you to all the pupils for their amazing fundraising for Comic Relief. Our total so far is £372.90 but we still have sponsorship coming in so who knows what the total will be. The pupils really enjoyed gunging David at assembly and found it really funny. The gunge was made by Sycamore class who put custard, tinned tomatos, baked beans and a selection each of their own choosing into a bucket and mixed it up. Deyar, Alfie and Jennifer helped to tip the gunge all over him as you can see from the photos. Thank you to David for being such a great sport.
