ACHIEVE FBAs and BIPs:
What Special Education Teachers Need to Know
Attention Special Education Teachers (and supporting administrators)! Have the ACHIEVE Functional Behavior Assessment and Behavior Intervention Plan processes left you scratching your head a little bit? Are you curious to learn more about how and why these documents and plans are created? Please join us for a 1-hour zoom learning session to increase your knowledge and learn more about what your obligations as a special education teacher are with FBAs and BIPs.
Learning Objectives:
1) Participants will understand how RIOT/SCIL are used to with FBA process.
2) Participants will identify essential components of the FBA and BIP process.
3) Participants will learn how to review the FBA and BIP in the ACHIEVE system.
4) Participants will understand the what and the why of the BIP.
5) Participants will understand the connection between the hypothesis statement & BIP.
1-Hour Zoom Sessions Available
Participants can choose from one of the following Zoom learning sessions:
- Monday, December 12th (11:30am-12:30pm)
- Wednesday, December 14th (7:30am-8:30am)
- Tuesday, December 20th (4:00pm-5:00pm)
