It's that time of year again as we approach the Holiday season and begin to show our thanks and gratitude towards others. With our focus on Kindness during the month of November, we ask that all SIC families and staff lead by example - be a little more patient, a little more giving, and a little more understanding. And remember, to greet each person you meet with a smile ☺️

As we wrap up Trimester 1, we want to thank the students for all their hard work these last few months. Their "Mathematician" brains have been thinking and wondering and sharing with one another and we are so proud of their efforts!

We hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Break and enjoy your time with family and friends.

Working at Steger has been a journey. When I started teaching I taught in 2nd grade EL at SIC. A year later I was moved to 1st grade EL were I spent 6 years teaching. As time would have it on my last year at this district I return to SIC. During these years I have learned so much from my colleagues and have made great friendships which I hope last a life time. All the luncheons and get togethers I will always treasure. You supported me during my hard times. Thank you. I will truly miss all of that. Most of all I will miss the students and their families. I have met families who work so hard to support and lead their children. Parents who wanted to be a team with me to help their child thrive. This has enriched my life in so many ways. I am hoping I did make a difference in some of the student’s lives. I hope I helped them get a good start in their educational lives. It has been a pleasure.
