It has been an amazing first week of school!

The students are getting into their routines, they are catching up with their classmates, and making new friends! Starting next week, the academic content increases as homework will begin and the curriculum will be introduced.

Students in grades 5-8 will receive their laptops next week. In order to receive their laptop, the students and parents must sign the Responsible Use of Technology Agreement for SFDS. If there are any questions regarding the agreement, please contact the classroom teacher.

The Kindergarten students received their Class Shirt this week. The shirt will be worn during the school year for special events, field trips, and Spirit Wear Fridays!

All students in grades K-8 will be attending the Eucharistic Miracles of the World exhibit on Friday, August 25. The teachers will be reviewing the importance of the exhibit and read about each of the Eucharistic Miracles as the students walk around the Gym.

The Eucharistic Miracles of the World exhibit will be open all weekend: August 25-28. Please feel free to come and see the miracles. It is Free Admission and All are Welcome.

The Mass of the Holy Spirit is a St. Francis de Sales tradition that starts the school year in thanksgiving. The students and staff come together to pray for a healthy and safe school year. The Mass of the Holy Spirit will be led by the 8th grade class on Wednesday, August 23 at 9:00 a.m.

Every Wednesday thereafter, there will be a School Mass on Wednesday mornings at 9:00 a.m. Each grade level will have a chance to lead a School Mass. To view the Mass Schedule on the school website, please click on the following link: https://stfrancisdesales-lebanon.com/mass-schedule-2023-2024

Picture forms will be sent home with the students the week of August 21-25.

Students may be Out of Uniform on Picture Day.

Help is needed in the SFDS Library. Duties will include checking in/out books and shelving books.

If you would like to organize any of the school events listed below, please take time to sign up within the link. Multiple people will be able to plan/organize each event.

Once the committees are formed, there will be a meeting scheduled with Mrs. Bitzer to schedule a date and go over the details.

All other Fridays, the students should be in their full uniform. Thanks for your help and support adhering to the school uniform policy.

The scholarship system will not be available Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 8:00am to 1:00pm due to maintenance. The income verification system will also not be available to parents at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.
