Happy Friday Raptor Families!

It was so good to see many of our families and students at parent teacher conferences on Thursday. We value your partnership in your students’ education. We have our last night of parent teacher conferences on Tuesday, October 10th. Teachers have communicated information on how to sign up for a time.


Our boys basketball team has a game at Timberline PK8 on Monday, October 9th. Our soccer teams have a home game versus Timberline after school on Wednesday, October 11th. Thank you for supporting our student athletes!


As our weather starts to cool down, please continue to remind your students to wear appropriate clothing to school and to dress in layers. We do try to go outside every day, so long as the weather allows.

As a gentle reminder, the earliest time to drop off your student is at 8:20AM and the bell rings at 8:35AM. Please note, that there is no supervision prior to 8:20AM. School lets out at 3:35PM, please make sure that students are picked up promptly, or that transportation and after-school care has been arranged.

Animals on School Grounds

Many of us have adorable, fun loving pets that we want to share with everyone, but for the safety of ALL our students, we ask that you keep your pet at home. While we all have the best intentions, we need to do our best to keep students safe. We appreciate your understanding.

National Custodian Day

In honor of National Custodian Day this past Monday. We'd like to introduce you to our Head Custodian, Diane Miller. She has been a wonderful addition and the school looks amazing because of her!

Calling All 4th-8th Graders

Lost and Found

The Lost and Found is starting to fill up. If your student is missing a jacket, water bottle, or lunch box, please have them check there. Parent/Teacher Conferences are also a great opportunity to look for any missing items. The Lost and Found is located outside of the main gym.

Infinite Campus Payments

Fees for the school year can be found online through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal under Fees. You can also see if there are any unpaid fees from the previous school years.


Families can make payments using Campus Payments. Please visit this link for instructions on how to pay outstanding fees in Infinite Campus.

Late Starts for the School Year:

November 1st, December 6th, February 7th, March 6th, April 3rd, May 1st


School starts at 11:05am, the earliest students can be dropped off is 10:50am. Buses pick up 2.5 hours later than their normal pick up time.

St. Vrain Preschool Literacy Night with Author Rosemary Wells

Preschool families in St. Vrain Valley Schools are invited to a special literacy night featuring renowned author Rosemary Wells on October 17 from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m., at the Innovation Center of St. Vrain Valley Schools. Rosemary Wells, celebrated for her beloved characters like Max & Ruby, Noisy Nora, and Yoko, will read her new book "If You Believe in Me," which preschoolers have received as part of our early reading initiative. Bring your copies for Rosemary Wells to sign, and the first 100 students without a book will receive one at no cost.

Safe2Tell

Safe2Tell provides students, parents, and community members a safe and anonymous way to report information about any issues that concern their safety or the safety of others. Safe2Tell’s reporting process is simple. Call to interact with a live, trained analyst (call takers) or fill out a form via the website or mobile app.

Attendance

Parents/guardians shall be required to furnish an explanation for student absenteeism either in writing or orally. Absences not explained within two days after returning to school shall be recorded as unexcused absences unless unusual or extenuating circumstances exist as determined by the building administrator. After 10 excused or unexcused absences a doctors note is required. Communication is key to successful attendance.
