Panther Pride Run SUCCESS!
A huge thank you to Christina Arias and Jordan Waggoner for putting on this year's Panther Pride Run. They really put in the bulk of the volunteer hours to ensure this fundraiser was a total success. We also had about 30 parent volunteers and 20 staff come out to blast our kids with water. It was a perfect sunny day that resulted in raising over $20K for our school. If you would like to make one last donation, Pledgestar will stay open until Tuesday evening. The students got 10 minutes of extra lunch last Friday and will have a free dress day during PE later this week. We will schedule the Pizza Party as soon as possible. The Pizza Party costs about $1000, so if you would like to make one more small donation to help offset these costs, we truly appreciate it. Incredible job by everyone!!!
Last prize distribution WEDNESDAY February 28, 2024.
Black History Month Celebration
We are excited to announce a Black History Month Celebration on February 26, 2024. 7th graders will attend an oral storytelling performance from Black Story Tellers of San Diego (BSSD). During lunch, all students will see the performance from the Teye Sa Thiosanne West African Drum & Dance Troupe https://teyesathiosanne.org/Welcome.html. It should be a great celebration of West African culture.
