Issue 20 has got plenty! Lots to see and information aplenty. This week's picture is from our high school Leadership class. They finished with 94 completed joey pouches. They were shipped out this week to Washington where they will be packaged with others from around the USA and sent to Australia. High School Summer School Options

We received information regarding options for HS Summer School. Mrs. Erickson will be able to help you navigate through the process. Please let her and Mrs. Alpay in the office know if you plan on taking any classes this summer. Here is a link to the Summer School options as well as a flyer below which outlines how to enroll in Summer School @ PCHS. The majority of our students will attend PCHS if they want to do summer school.

PE Testing - All 5th, 7th, 9th Graders

Starting in March, all 5th, 7th and 9th grade students are required by the state to take a physical fitness test. Students will run a mile, do push-ups and sit-ups, and be tested on flexibility. You can help your child prepare by practicing at home. You can click the picture for more information on the test.

Parenting Class: Gaming, Social Media and Wellness

Dr. Sina Safahieh, child and adolescent psychiatrist, will speak to addiction to gaming and technology. He will review the signs for concern, differences between normal teen behaviors and potentially harmful ones, and what parents can do to help. This event will be hosted at Beckman High School Performing Arts Center Wed, February 12th @ 6PM .

Reminder: Measure N Information Community Meeting

TUSD is holding Measure N Bond Information Community Meetings


Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 6:30 p.m. Arroyo Elementary School multipurpose room, 11112 Coronel Road, North Tustin,


Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 6:30 p.m. in the W.R. Nelson Elementary School multipurpose room, 14392 Browning Ave., Tustin.


Supt Franklin will give a presentation about Measure N, which is on the March 3 ballot. Measure N is a general obligation bond to improve school buildings inside the School Facilities Improvement District (SFID 20-1) that includes all of the oldest schools in the District. The SFID excludes all neighborhoods that are paying Mello-Roos fees that built the schools in Tustin Ranch, West Irvine, Northpark, Orchard Hills and Tustin Legacy.


Information about Bond Measure N can be found on the TUSD Website’s home page at www.tustin.k12.ca.us.
