Guided 365 Day Reflection Journal
Scripture For Grief, Recovery, & Joy for February 20

Today’s Scripture
O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption.
Psalm 130:7 ESV
Today's Guide
When preparing for today, think about the following: God is God; He Always has Been, and He Always Will Be.
Food for thought
It is still possible to thrive despite the pain and suffering caused by trauma, loss, illness, or grief. By trusting in Him, we are able to find the strength to make it through whatever our journey holds.
God is God; He always has been, and He always will be. His redemption not only cleanses our souls but also repairs broken relationships and transforms societies. Ultimately, His redemptive work will renew all of creation.
Trust that no matter how dire a situation may seem, there is hope in Him alone.
When you find yourself struggling through life's difficulties, cling to God's promises and hope. He is the only one who can bring you peace, joy, and fulfillment in spite of it all. Don't be weary; put your trust in Him, and He will never fail you.
Gratitude
Gratitude opens our hearts and eyes to the good around us and helps us remain hopeful for the future. Gratitude reinforces our trust in God's redemptive work. It allows us to see beauty even when things seem dark. A grateful heart changes our perspective from one of despair to one of hope, reminding us that with God, all things are possible!
By practicing gratitude, we cultivate an attitude of thankfulness in every situation — no matter how amazing or difficult it may be. Our trust in God will bring forth opportunities for joy, love, and hope. This is what keeps us going and believing that better days are ahead. It’s not easy to stay positive, but having a grateful heart will help us maintain our faith and trust in God.
How has gratitude impacted your life? Your walk with God?
Today's Prayer
Lord, I am grateful for Your steadfast love. Help me to remember to extend that same love to those around me. Your love in and through me brings redemption to me and those around me. Let Your love pour out and redeem this world. Amen
