Principal's Message 📝
As we round out our final days before the winter break, I want to wish everyone happy holidays. I hope you all get time to enjoy family and friends, as well as get a chance to rest. We have a wonderful community at Murwood and in Walnut Creek that continues to support student success now and in their future.
I also understand that this time of year can be a difficult time for many for a variety of reasons. As we enter this extended break, I want to share a link that has many resources that our school district has created for those might need some additional resources.
Thank you to everyone who contributed so many amazing books to this year's book swap. Because of your generosity, each student at Murwood will be able to take home at least one "new" book. Wishing you all a happy and healthy new year from the library. Happy reading!
Happy Holidays!

Notes From the Office
Lost and Found
You may have noticed the HUGE assortment of jackets, sweaters, lunch boxes etc. in our Lost & Found. In an effort to help reunite these lost and misplaced items, we will have everything on display in front of the school tomorrow and Friday (weather permitting). If your child is missing something, stop by and take a look. Any items left after 12/22 will be donated.
Thank you,
Mrs. Kaye, Office Manager

End of Year Giving
It’s not too late to make a tax-deductible donation to WCEF this year and support our schools in providing a well-rounded educational experience to Walnut Creek students. Vital programs that are not funded by the State – like weekly art, music, science lab; our libraries; electives in middle and high school – come at a cost. Your donations to WCEF make programs like these possible!
