At HSMS, we are serious about addressing bullying and intervening early. Students have done a wonderful job on reporting inappropriate social media sites or concerns they have for bullying. Below are some resources for parents to assist in addressing cyberbullying. Please join us in talking with your students frequently about the dangers of bullying and the importance of reporting to a trusted adult any concerns that they might have.

Also included below is the HSMS bullying policy. We appreciate any feedback from parents on how to improve or modify the bullying intervention plan.

On Thursday, September 28th Mrs. Smith provided all 8th graders with a letter of permission for students to attend Aiken County Career and Technology Center on Wednesday, November 1st. We need all permission slips back by Monday for students to attend. Extra permission slips are available in the main office.

Do you have a student who is interested in participating in the first annual Highland Springs Pageant?

There will be a parent interest meeting for any student interested in participating in the Highland Springs Winter Pageant. The meeting will be held in the HSMS cafeteria at 5:30 pm on Nov. 2nd.
