BHA Update
09/10/2022
Middle/High School Uniform
Alhamdulillah, the heat wave is broken and normal uniform and PE uniform regulations are again in place.
To be avoided:
Sweats and sweatshirts, hoodies
Improper footwear (open-toed or heeled shoes, including clogs)
Hair or neck showing
High School Girls’ Uniform:
Alhamdulillah, the high school girls' uniform is almost finished. We at BHA are proud that our high school girls were involved in choosing the design and shade of their new uniform. Girls should start wearing the required uniform pants and scarves while waiting for the long tunics. Those choosing to wear skirts must be full skirts rather than tight, stretchy skirts.
Map Testing
AG Campus:
Students 4th-12th will be having their MAP Growth Tests in the next two week.
Alhamdulillah, the majority of the middle and high school students have already completed the math portion, and our math teachers will be using these assessment results to identify the students’ areas of strength and weakness in order to provide appropriate instruction.
Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair (6th-12th)
We would like to again congratulate all of last year’s Science and Engineering Fair participants for their outstanding hard work and success and to welcome everyone to our Science and Engineering Fair 2022-2023 season.
It’s time to start this exciting adventure of exploration again. As we continue to raise the bar of achievements, we are requesting that all students interested in participating this year sign up by September 26, using the link below to receive more information: https://forms.gle/RDG9zY4on5YqnJfu7
Science Fair is not part of the science class, and students are expected to do most of their work at home. Meetings with the science fair mentors will be available during lunchtime and Fridays after school.

Robotics Program at AG-Campus
Our STEM Committee is delighted to announce that the registration for the Fall '22 Robotics season is now open for students grades 4th - 8th.
In this program, the students will develop and use critical thinking and STEM skills as they collaborate to build their own robots and participate in a thrilling mission-based robot game.
We require two adult volunteers per team to assist with the robot game or the research and presentation portion of the robotics competition in order to accommodate more students in this program.
