WMS Friday Forecast
May 21, 2021 - Week 36
All Wredling library books are due back Friday, May 21st
Please check your email inbox and Spam folders for messages from the sender “email.destiny@d303.org” for more information. Have your student return any overdue books by Thursday, May 27th, to avoid the REPLACEMENT COST for each book being added to PushCoin fees next Friday.
In-Person Students: There is a book drop-box in every pod so, even though it’s hard to let a good story go, it’s easy for students to return their books on time.
Remote and Quarantining students: We also have a book drop in the vestibule of the Main Lobby at Wredling for a socially-distanced book return.2021 YEARBOOK INFORMATION
CAN YOU HELP?
WMS student Nathan Muscarello is working with the Service Learning class to raise money for the Make A Wish foundation! Make A Wish is a non profit organization in which kids with serious illnesses dreams come true. To donate visit Gofundme.org and search for the Wredling Make a Wish Fundraiser page. You can help raise awareness by donating! A donation goal of $1000 has been set and your help is needed to achieve this goal.
REMINDERS FROM THE HEALTH OFFICE
Medication Pickup Reminder
Please do not forget to pick up all medications by the last day of school! Those medicines not picked up by an adult by May 28th, will need to be disposed of. The only medications that can be given to a student to transport home are those that are allowed to be self carried (Epi Pens, Pancreatic Enzymes or inhalers). If there is a self carry form on file for one of those medications, please remind your student to stop in and pick up medication before leaving on the last day. All medication orders must be renewed each school year. Forms are available on the district web site under “Parents”, then “forms” or by contacting the health office.
Appointments for the required 6th grade and 9th grade physicals tend to fill up quickly and should be scheduled now! Please submit the completed physicals to the respective schools as they are done. They are required to be submitted for review prior to the first day.
The health office is closed during the summer months. We will return for limited hours beginning in early August. Please contact me if there are new medical concerns for your child or if your child will need a health plan at school.
Have a safe and healthy summer!

FIVE Reminders for After School Pick Up
Just a reminder to parents...
You need to pick up kids at the Norris Center parking lot after school, not off the Dunham Road driveway, Kirk Rd, or Fox Chase Blvd roadways.
Go slowly and be aware of all students and cars in the lots, crossing the roadways.
You need to pull into a parking space in the Norris lot.
Please follow all posted signs and arrows. This includes Fox Chase Rd being closed from Kirk Rd to East HS daily for our bus traffic.
Parents may NOT pick-up students from our back parking lot without permission from Mr. Loversky (ex. due to injury). They will receive a pass for this purpose. We have too many smaller buses trying to pick up students from this area.
Thank you,
Tim
