Congratulations to Our Battle of the Books Team
Congratulations to our Battle of the Books team for their remarkable achievement. They read ten novels and dedicated countless hours to collaborate effectively in preparation for this event. Your hard work and commitment have made BBES immensely proud.
Congratulations
Congratulations to the fourth and fifth grade Math Club Team! Your hard work and dedication have truly paid off. This year, you worked together, solved many problems, and learned so much about math. Mathematics can be challenging, but you all showed how much fun it can be when we help each other. Whether it was practicing for competitions or just talking about math ideas, your teamwork and friendship made a big difference. It is amazing to see how much you have all grown in your math skills. Every member of the team played an important role, and together you achieved great things. We are so proud of you for your efforts and the spirit you brought to the club. Keep loving math and learning new things! We can’t wait to see what you will do next year. Once again, congratulations to each member of the Math Club Team for a fantastic year and a special congratulations to the fourth grade team for taking 1ST PLACE!

Out of District Requests
If you reside outside the district and wish to request enrollment for your student at BBES for the upcoming school year, please fill out the PS 103 and PS 142 forms provided in the links below. It is important to note that these forms must be completed annually, and if you have multiple students, you will need to submit two forms for each one. After filling out both forms, please send them to the Secretary to the Principal at your home school for the necessary signature. If you are uncertain about whom to contact at your assigned school, you can locate the information on your home school's webpage through smcps.org by selecting "schools" and then your school's name, where you will find the staff directory. Once your home school has signed the forms, they will email the completed documents to us. Please ensure that all forms are submitted by June 11, 2025. Mr. Szczerbiak will review each request, and you can expect to receive notification from Student Services via email, typically during the summer. Click the links below for documents.

A Message from Your Banneker PTA
Did you know that Box Tops for education still exists? Although, the days of cutting box tops
from your groceries are a thing of the past, the Box Tops for Education program still provides the
opportunity for funding to our school. It’s never been easier to use the program. Use the QR
code below to download the Box Tops app and designate “Banneker Loveville” as your box tops
recipient. You can choose to connect your Walmart account or scan your grocery receipts to
earn money for our school. You can reach out to bbeslionspta@gmail.com with any questions.
