TIPS Journal Aug 7, 2023
preparing for the best school year yet
Greetings from Tokyo International Progressive School
I hope this finds you having a fun and safe summer. We at TIPS have worked this summer to get ready for a period of growth in our school. More students means more teachers! We have nine full-time classroom teachers this year, one more than last year. Our part-time teachers have increased also, each one bringing their speciality to our complementary courses. You can read more about each staff member below.
Our dismissal will be at 3:25 p.m. through September 1.
Wednesday, September 6 at 1 p.m. is our first online Parent Staff Association meeting. I hope to see you there! Three staff members, including two teachers and myself, will rotate attendance at the PSA meetings this year. We hope this will bring a wider perspective from the staff side of the PSA.
As always, any questions, please ask.
All the best,
Lyn Sato
TIPS Principal
