Miss. Johnson has been given the opportunity to work closer to home and has accepted a school counselor position at a brand new school opening up in the Renton School District this fall.
This has been both a very exciting and a very hard decision for Miss. Johnson to make as Crestwood has been her home for the past 7 years. She has learned so much from working with each of you and is eager to bring all of that with her on this new adventure. She will be truly missed!
We previously announced that there would be a new assistant principal joining our Orca Family. To focus on consistency, the District is holding off on some reassignments of its assistant principals. This means that Alisha Maulding will remain at CWE for the 2023-24 school year. We’re so excited that she’ll be able to continue her great work at CWE and maintain the valuable relationships with staff and families that she’s formed over the past 3 years!
