Volume 5 Issue 13
As we head into what has turned into a 4-day weekend, we hope you have the opportunity to celebrate our Veteran's and take care of yourself and your family as we navigate the current situation as a result of the Hangar Fire. Next week will be the final week before heading into fall break. Be sure to get caught up so that you can enjoy the time off worry free with family and friends.
This week's background features pictures Mrs. Maeda's Number Sense Math lessons as we continue to put efforts and resources into our mathematics instruction. The photo in the heart is from senior Katherine Kim who will be attending UCSD for fencing shortly after signing her letter of intent. Lastly, included in the inlet below is senior TC student Krisitan Dunbar Hawkins as he celebrates with his family his recognition as on the 100 best high school football players in the country. Kristian is dual enrolled at Tustin High, where he shines bright as a successful student athlete.

Principal's Message...
I want to thank all of our families and students along with our teachers and staff for your flexibility and patience as we navigate this unique situation. At this time, we do not have confirmation as to the status of in-person instruction for Monday. We are working with city and public agencies to provide families with the latest information and to protect the safety of our students and staff. Please be assured that regular updates will be shared and additional information will be sent out once available. So stay tuned!
In case you missed it, last week our school was featured in the TUSD weekly video newsletter as they spotlighted our Math Intervention Program. Check it out. Additionally, we are so proud of TC student Kristian Dunbar Hawkins as he was featured as well as a dual enrolled student athlete at Tustin High School as he earned the Under Armour 100 Best High School Football athletes and has been selected to play in the Under Armour All-America Game in Florida later this year. What an amazing student athlete.
As always, if you have any questions, compliments, ideas, and/or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out at (714) 430-2052 ext. 52103 or efineberg@tustin.k12.ca.us. Have a great weekend.
Mr. Fineberg
