Elementary Transition to Cohort On-Campus/Online Learning Schedule Celebration!
Dear TVUSD Family,
This week marked a monumental point in time for us as we successfully transitioned our elementary sites to the cohort on-campus/online learning models. On Tuesday, TVUSD elementary campuses welcomed over 7,400 learners on-campus and 3,600 online. There's no question that I was excited to see students back on campus. It signals a significant step towards a return to traditional learning. I am equally as excited to continue to serve our online learners. The pandemic has created opportunities to expand TVUSD’s learning options for students and serve them beyond the classroom walls.
For our on-campus transition, the time, attention to detail, extensive preparation and planning, personal touches, and incredible all-around efforts exhibited by TVUSD elementary teams were nothing short of AMAZING! I truly believe our students and families experienced a seamless transition because of so many extraordinary efforts.
While I have been honored, humbled, and proud to serve TVUSD for the past 24 years, this week, I reached a level of pride that is indescribable. The joy and ear-to-ear grins on our students' faces as they stepped out of their cars and walked onto campuses for the first time in twelve months, as well as the excitement expressed by our staff and parents, are moments that will forever be in my heart.
