For parents only:

Don't forget about tonight's "My Wish For You..." sticky note hour tonight from 6-7pm. Let's flood our kids with positives as they start our their school year. If you can't make it, we will ensure that all kids have a note or two!! Please don't tell them if you can. If you missed the video about this idea (originally this started as a 5th grade only idea but caught way more excitement than I thought, so now its for ALL OF OUR KIDS), please click here to watch it!

Also, 5th grade parents, don't forget to let the kids know what size t-shirt size they wear but please don't tell them they are getting a class of 2030 shirt tomorrow. 6th grade parents...we aren't leaving your students behind. We are planning an end of year send off celebration for them that we hope is one for the memory books! Interested in helping to plan this? Get involved with our PTO!!

If you haven't updated your demographics and signed our digital forms yet, please log in to your PowerSchool parent account (from a computer not app) to update your demographics...even if they haven't changed. We need you to check off certain items (acceptable use policy, study trip permission, handbook, etc).

Tuesday, September 6......School Resumes!

All students who are dropped off at school need to follow these guidelines for a safe start and end of the day:

• Students need to be dropped off in the Getty Street Parking Lot.
• Students need to exit the vehicle on the passenger side ONLY when the car is located near a side walk.
• DO NOT drop your student off and ask them to walk in front of another car. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS.

The start and end of the day are likely going to be congested and some people may be less than patient. Please treat each other with grace, patience and understanding. If we all do this, OUR KIDS will remain safe and see a great example of how to react during stressful times.

Medication shall not be brought to school unless it is essential to the health of the student.

Medications which need to be taken in school must be administered by certified school personnel (or designee) in the presence of another adult. Parents must bring medication to the school office in the original container and file a written statement. NO STUDENT MAY BRING ANY MEDICATION TO SCHOOL.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Breakfast and Lunch will be served in the cafeteria, but will NOT be free to all students as in the past couple of years. Please go to lunchapp.com to apply for free or reduced breakfast and lunch benefits.

• Breakfast will be offered to any kids that need/want it in the cafeteria at 7:30am. Students will need to enter the building at DOOR 1 to walk to the cafeteria.
• Breakfast: $1.25
• Lunch: $2.90

SEPTEMBER MENU

Please complete a school lunch application if your income has changed since you last filled one out or if you have not yet completed one this year. This information is super helpful for R-P funding, but also necessary for food service to have if an additional round of P-EBT cards go out. Complete the form online at lunchapp.com. THANK YOU!

Students will have the option to purchase (if you allow it) a la carte items from the lunch line. These items WILL cost extra money, so students will need money in their account or to bring money with them. They will NOT be allowed to charge it to their account if there is no money in it.

Go to: https://forms.gle/HMCt379TwqDhEziC6 to register for the program. The fee to play is $50 which includes their jersey and the general team equipment needed to play (mouthpiece not provided). Participants must be in grades K-6 and do not need to be RP students to join in on the fun.
