Dear St. Anne Parents,
It has been a while since you heard me talk about our school's Schoolwide Learning Expectations (SLEs). You hear all of us each morning recite our school's creed. Our creed states, "As St. Anne Students we believe in living our lives based on the teachings of Jesus, learning new things every day for the rest of our lives, respecting all of God's creation, and caring for our worldwide family." Many of the leaders in the world today are working against most or all of these values noted in our creed. Everything we do here at school focuses in on our SLEs. Whether the students are working in their classroom, out in the yard, or walking down Irving Street, those are the qualities that the faculty and staff want our students, your children, to live out each day no matter where they are. I believe each of you want the same thing for your child. Take a few minutes to go over the meaning of our school creed with your child, reminding them how important these qualities are for them to work towards. Partnering together we will be able to instill these important values in each one of our students which will not only help them realize their full potential today, but make our world a better place tomorrow.
Please keep the people in the Ukraine in your thoughts and prayers during this devastating time.
