4-H OZOBOTS WORKSHOP - CHECK THIS OUT!

Join the Cass County Extension Staff as we learn how to code Ozobots! Ozobots are robots that can read code by using colors! January 24th from 6:00pm-7:30pm at the Cass County Extension Office. Cost is $10.00 per youth and for ages 5-14. FAMILY SPECAIL!!! Special 4-H Winter Workshop: Galactic Quest STEM Challenge

Unlock the mysteries of space exploration this Winter Break! A Galactic Quest STEM Challenge Workshop, for youth ages 8 – 14, will be held on December 27th from 1-4pm CT at the Cass County Extension Office. Students from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln will lead activities focused on the history of humans in space, the technology and resources needed for missions, and the obstacles humans encounter in orbit. Activities explore important topics ranging from physics and engineering to computer science and space agriculture.

4-H volunteers are required to be screened every 5 years and Cass County is due this year! There is a fee of $5.00. Be sure to follow the instructions before submitting your registration.

  • To register for in person YQCA training, you will first need to enroll or reenroll in 4HOnline 2.0. Once your enrollment is approved, log into your account, click the "events" tab on the left side of the screen, then click "Register for an event" tab, then click on the date you wish to attend the training. Once your registration has been approved you will be emailed a code for in person YQCA training. Link to 4HOnline 2.0: v2.4honline.com
  • YQCA training is being paid for by the Cass County 4-H Council! Thank you 4-H Council!

4-H at Omaha Fashion Week!

Nebraska 4-H is pleased to announce that we are once again partnering with Omaha Fashion Week during their Spring Showcase. OFW Student Night will take place on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, and will exclusively feature high school designers, including a 4-H collection. This collection will consist of 10-12 garments from across the state and modeled by the 4-H member who made it. In order to create a complete and dynamic collection, interested 4-H members are invited to apply to participate in the show.
