Through six matches, Eli has shown exceptional skill and making waves in the world of marksmanship. Leading the team in point, Eli's average score of 227 showcases not only his natural talent but also his dedication to continuous improvement. In one of the standout moments of the season, he achieved a personal best with an impressive score of 256.8, as he displayed his determination to never settle and always improve. Eli Gaddis is proving to be a valuable asset to the team, and his remarkable progress as a first-year marksman is an indication to his potential. We eagerly anticipate the heights he will reach in the future, and we expect great things from this young man. Keep your sights high, Eli, the marksmanship world is yours to conquer!
On 11 November 2023, MCJROTC and members of the Marine Corps Family Celebrated the 248th Marine Corps Birthday Ball at North Forsyth HS and it was an unforgettable experience! It was the first Birthday Ball held by MCJROTC after 20 years, and our dedicated cadets and staff poured over 420 hours into planning and coordinating this extraordinary event to make it a success. More than 180 members of the Marine Corps JROTC community came together, making the evening truly special.
A heartfelt thanks to our Guest of Honor, the one and only former Senior Marine Instructor Maj Mac Kelly, who retired in 2019. His impactful speech resonated with cadets and attendees alike, leaving us inspired and motivated. The camaraderie, the traditions, and the spirit of the Corps were alive and well, making this Birthday Ball a night to remember. Here's to the next 248 years of Marine Corps excellence! #248thMarineCorpsBirthday #SemperFi #NorthForsythHSJROTC #Nextyearwillbebiggerandbetter #Thebestisyettocome
Raider Team Places 2nd at Nationals
We are delighted to share the remarkable accomplishments of our NFHS MCJROTC Raider cadets, who recently participated in The Raider Nationals Challenge Division in the Mixed category. Against the backdrop of a challenging season, marked by various obstacles, our cadets not only demonstrated resilience but also emerged triumphant with an outstanding 2nd place overall finish.
Their performance at The Raider National Challenge showcased the unwavering determination and tenacity that define our cadets. In the face of adversity, they not only met the challenges head-on but surpassed expectations with their remarkable teamwork, skill, and dedication.
This achievement is a testament to the unwavering spirit and commitment of our NFHS MCJROTC Raider cadets, reflecting the high standards and values instilled in them throughout the season. We take immense pride in their success and look forward to celebrating future triumphs as they continue to exemplify excellence in all their endeavors.
Moreover, we are elated to announce that our very own Devyn Keenan achieved an additional milestone by winning the prestigious $10,000 Hinton Entrepreneur Award. Devyn's remarkable success reflects not only her individual dedication but also the collective excellence fostered within our program.
