Principal's Message

Dear OMS Families,

We had a great week but could use your help reminding our students about expected school behaviors. The key topics that we will address as a school next week on morning announcements are bathroom expectations, cleaning up after ourselves at lunch, and playing safely during recess. We encourage you to have a conversation with your child about what our Hoot behaviors mean in the bathroom, the commons, and on the playground.

Erin's Law

This year Erin’s Law presentations will take place during the week of February 21st - 25th. Click HERE for information about Erin's Law and the topics covered at each grade level. Mrs. Peterman, our OMS social worker, will be presenting in the classrooms. Presentations will be one time for about 30 minutes. Classroom teachers will share the specific date for their classroom presentation with you in an upcoming newsletter.

A few years ago OMS PTA graciously donated a set of books for parents to preview if they would like. These will be available in the office beginning Tuesday, Feb. 8th. Please email omsoffice@sd25.org to set up a time to view them.

World Language Selection - 5th Graders

Attention 5th-Grade Families!

5 Essentials Survey

3rd Grade Clay Night - Postponed

Our 3rd grade clay night was originally scheduled for February 16th. We have decided to postpone clay night for a month or two so that we can safely welcome all 3rd-grade families that would like to attend. We will share a new date soon!
