Principal's Weekly Update
Week of September 11th-15th
Principal's Notes
Dear Families,
It seems like we survived the heat and cooler weather is in the forecast. Thank you to the families who donated popsicles. It was a nice treat for everyone this week.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone on Thursday for Back to School Night. Details of the schedule for the evening are below. This is a great opportunity for you to hear about our plans for the year and meet your child's teacher.
As a school, it is important that we inform parents anytime we talk about a sensitive topic with students. Each year we are required to talk with all students about bullying and harassment. On 9/13, I will be visiting each classroom (Pre-K - 2) or having small assemblies (3-5 and 6-8) to discuss these topics. The topic will be addressed in an age appropriate manner and will serve as a reminder to students of the policies regarding bullying and harassment. Further details of our school policies can be found in our handbook. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have questions.
We will be walking to Holy Name Church on Thursday, 9/14 at 9 a.m for our opening mass of the school year. All families are welcome to join us. We hope to see you there.
Have a great weekend.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Megan dos Santos
