Falcon Flyer
Belong. Inspire. Grow.
Straight from the Hardt
Hello Ridgeline Families- Sometimes it just feels like a “short-and-sweet” kind of day. The newsletter Tessa puts together for us is fantastic and pretty much tells the whole story of life at Ridgeline for the past week.
We have a lot to be thankful for and just as much to be proud of. As you scroll through the Flyer it’s pretty impressive to see the talents, abilities, and successes of so many of our students. It’s not always noticed, but our students take pride in serving others in our school and community. The willingness to give the gift of their own time and energy to benefit others is inspiring!
We look forward to honoring our Veteran’s during our assembly next Thursday.
Come to Ridgeline stadium for our first-ever football playoff game this Saturday—1:00pm kick-off. GO FALCONS!
Make it a great weekend! --Mr. Hardt
Student Services
Ridgeline High School students explore high-demand trade programs at Spokane Community College.
NewTech Prep’s (aka Skill Center) Shannon Dale will be at RHS next Wednesday, November 8, during 6th period (1:20) to share information about NewTech’s many, hands-on learning opportunities. To attend the information session, sophomores and juniors are invited to complete the registration Mr. Spraggins sent out via Google Classroom earlier this week. Registration and signed passes will be required to attend. Please direct any questions you and/or your student may have to Mr. Spraggins (bspraggins@cvsd.org) or your student’s grade level counselor.
Congratulations Volleyball- Academic State Champs!
Highest GPA in the State with an average of 3.894! WAY TO GO FALCONS!
Ridgeline Regiment
The Ridgeline Regiment competed at the NWAPA Championships at the University of Oregon last weekend. The NWAPA is the premiere governing body for bands across the Pacific Northwest. This is the equivalent to a three-state championship contest. Ridgeline went toe to toe with some 31 of the most tenured bands in the Pacific Northwest and took 2nd place. They missed out on the top prize to the four-time defending NWAPA Champions, Grants Pass HS by one-tenth of a point. It was an exciting weekend. We are so proud of everyone’s work and accomplishments this season. So many things went well for the marching band - including a Rocky-esque finish in Eugene, OR as they went the distance with the champs. It was a stellar conclusion to another history-making year in the band. Thank you everyone for your support this year.
State Cross Country Meet- Congratulations to Paige Huntsinger and Nico Cisneros
Paige Huntsinger and Nico Cisneros are off to Pasco to represent Ridgeline in the State Cross Country Meet. Paige and Nico are both juniors at Ridgeline. Paige and Nico qualified for the state competition by placing in the Top 21 at our district meet last week. This is Paige's second time competing at State. Nico is a first-time state competitor. We wish both of them the very best of luck on Saturday. Go Falcons! #Talonsup
