COMMUNITY UPDATES
Character Counts is starting the year in need of coaches for 3 classrooms in the County: a 2nd grade class at Centreville Elementary and two Kindergarten classes at Sudlersville Elementary. If you have just a 1/2 hour twice a month, THE STUDENTS NEED YOU!

This year, at the 18th Annual Awards Ceremony, QACPS took home nine awards, including two 2nd place winners and multiple Honorable Mention Awards across three different age categories. Three CMS students had the unique opportunity to interview two Subject Matter Experts from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Penicillin and the Bubonic Plague. Read the full press release here.
