MEET INTERIM PRINCIPAL, CINDY ANDERSON
It is with great honor that I introduce myself as the Interim Principal of Rancho Minerva Middle School for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year. I truly look forward to serving our community.
Professionally, I have been part of the Vista USD Family since 1994. My career experiences include teaching Mathematics and Science at the middle school level and grades 3-5 at the elementary school level. I served as middle school assistant principal at Washington Middle School and then at VIDA and principal of Alamosa Park Elementary School.
Personally, my family has lived in Vista since 1930. I attended Crestview and Santa Fe Elementary Schools, Washington Junior High School, and Vista High School. I am a proud Vista kid! I have been married for 51 years to my high school sweetheart. We have 2 daughters- the oldest teaches at the Leadership Academy and 4 grandchildren who attend Vista schools. The majority of my personal time is spent with family and friends, hiking, and reading.
It is my goal to support the great work already happening at Rancho Minerva. I look forward to serving students, families, staff and the community to assure our scholars are successful and transition smoothly to their next school. My door is always open and I welcome your input. Please do not hesitate to contact me via email, phone call, or personal appointment!
Sincerely,
Cindy Anderson

APPOINTMENTS REQUIRED
Thank you for helping us help YOU! It is essential that parents/families make appointments to see Administrators at RMMS. We know sometimes things come up quickly, however, in order to serve our families, we need you to schedule an appointment. Parents who arrive on campus prior to school beginning will need to wait until school starts to meet with an Administrator. Please note that all Administrators are on campus with scholars during the following times: 30 minutes before school starts, lunch time, and 20 minutes after school ends. Administrators are not available to meet with parents during this time. We thank you for your understanding and patience. Please schedule an appointment by calling 760-631-4500.
Our scholars are assigned an Administrator based on their last names. We are all here to help! Please call Mr. Miguel at 760-631-4500, x64006, to set up an appointment if needed or click on the AP's name to email them directly in English or Spanish. Be sure to include your scholar's name.
- Assistant Principal Dr. Blessey-Bragg is assigned to scholars with last names A-L
- Assistant Principal Ms.Hasan is assigned to scholars with last names M-Z.

END OF YEAR EVENTS PLANNED!
We have planned some fun events to celebrate the end of RMMS for all scholars! Dr. B and Ms. Hasan visited all Triple C and Study Skills classes to share our school wide expectations. If you would like to check out the presentation, CLICK HERE to check it out. We want to keep everyone safe and learning at RMMS and that takes ALL of us. Thank you for supporting our team from home.
BULL BUCKS STORE OPEN EVERY OTHER FRIDAY
Get ready to spend your "money!" Ms. Hasan has put together a great store of goodies you will love. You can get things for as little as 5 Bull Bucks. Click here for the list of goodies!
DEVICE COVERAGE REMINDER
Please consider purchasing device coverage for your computer. It's $20 for the school year. That's a deal! Just as an example of how much repairs cost: The Dell Touch screen 3100 model repair cost for its screen damage is around $150! The option to purchase a $20 VUSD Mobile Device Protection Plan is an easy solution to protect this expensive piece of equipment.
CELL PHONES ON CAMPUS
All scholars are reminded to power down their cell phones and to put them in their backpacks each morning during the announcements. If a scholar needs to reach their family, they are able to access the phones in classrooms or in Scholar Services. If a scholar's phone is seen out (for example, in their back pocket), it could be confiscated and held for parent pickup. Thank you for your support in advance.
