Texas Performance Reporting System
Check it out! There are many new available data sets that haven't been released in previous years.

Preliminary Four Year Longitudinal Cohorts
The confidential (unmasked) preliminary longitudinal cohort reports have been updated to reflect 2020–21 data and are now available through the TEAL Accountability application under the RES tab. Districts are advised to use the lists to help determine in what year a student is expected to graduate for accountability purposes. The preliminary lists provide cohort membership information, selected demographic and characteristic information, and certificate of high school equivalency information.
2021 Optional Alternative Evaluation Window open through December 15
I will continue to reach out to those eligible campuses as a reminder to complete the form.
Appeal of Consecutive Years of Unacceptable Performance
Under SB 1365, districts may also file an appeal for the determination of consecutive school years of unacceptable performance ratings for the district and/or campus. The 2021 preliminary 2021 Consecutive School Years of Unacceptable Ratings listing has been updated on the 2021 ratings page. This listing was updated by incorporating all potential pauses under SB 1882 and Math Innovation Zones. The count of years was also updated to begin with 2013–14 accountability ratings and excludes ratings prior to August 2014.
If a district wishes to appeal the count of consecutive years of unacceptable ratings, an appeal must be filed through the TEAL 2021 Consecutive School Years of Unacceptable Ratings Appeal System by December 15. Documentation supporting such an appeal is required, and the appeal must follow the guidelines provided in the Guidelines for the 2021 Appeal of Consecutive School Years of Unacceptable Performance Ratings.
Student Listings posted for Remote Learning ADA
As prescribed by SB15, districts may receive full average daily attendance (ADA) funding for students who attend local remote learning programs at any point during the 2021–22 school year if the remote instruction and the attending student meet certain statutory requirements.
The Student Listing for 2021–22 Local Remote Learning ADA Funding Eligibility is now posted in TEAL in the Accountability application to help districts determine funding eligibility for students who may participate in a local remote learning program. The responsibility for making the final determination on a student’s eligibility for funding lies with the LEA. Attendance data is auditable.
To learn more about remote learning program requirements, please see the TEA FAQ.
