The Project Idea
Building global citizenship is a process that imposes an essential need to change the educational action addressing our students. This project will take consistency from enquiry-based activities aimed at investigating the students’ knowledge of their school and to discover and bring out what beautiful, inclusive and sustainable there is in it. Consequently, the students’ critical thinking will be implemented, prompted by guiding questions, to activate problem solving strategies aimed at seeking improvement proposals and at creating a school environment that is more careful to reconciling aesthetics with the functionality of physical and educational spaces. Furthermore, a school which devotes greater attention to inclusion and environmental sustainability. Then, we will move on from the emerging proposals to possible actions, even if minimal, to switch on the desired change. A multidisciplinary STEAM path will allow the partners to share experiences and knowledge of school realities other than their own and to work cooperatively to create collaborative multimedia products. It will be a student-centred learning aimed to promote CLIL as well as communication among the partner students.

Expected Results
The results expected through this project consist in having our students achieve the objectives set, with the great aim of generating an active citizenship, a culture of inclusiveness and a sustainable environmental education glancing at beauty and good style to contribute to an essential need for change, starting from our schools’ environments. The work progression will be made visible through the Twinspace pages. Selected products will be disseminated through the Project diary, the website of the partner schools and social channels. Possible links between the project activities and local area organisations could be created.
