KRS Reading Night - April 18, 2923

All KRS families are invited to attend the KRS Reading Night on April 18, 2023 from 6:30 - 7:30.

Fifth Grade Families - Save the date! - June 9, 2023 9:30 AM

The KRS Class of 2023 celebration ceremony is scheduled for June 9, 2023 at 9:30 AM.

News from School Counselor Mr. Levine

On Thursday, March 16th, all students at KRS participated in a service project making sensory-friendly vaccine bags. This service project was coordinated by KRS parent Danielle Hall who is the program manager for the Vaccine Education Initiative for the Autism Society of America. All classes received a micro lesson on health equity, and autism awareness before putting together the vaccine bags which contained items such as a fidget spinner, a stress ball, and sunglasses. This picture is of some of the students in Mrs. Sullivan’s 5th-grade class with Mrs. Hall and the sensory bags they assembled.

Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences

Spring Parent/Teacher conferences are on Monday (Night) and Tuesday (Afternoon), April 3rd & April 4th.

Your child's teacher will be in touch about a date and time for your conference.

Parent/Teacher conferences are opportunities for parents and teachers to meet together to discuss student progress and strengthen partnerships. Please see this link for an article about effective parent/teacher conferences.
