I ask that you continue to make sure that your child is following the Bogota Board of Education Dress Code. Students should not have any outside logos on their clothing and sweaters/sweatshirts need to be solid colors. Thank you for your continued cooperation.
Students should be here on time each morning. Please make every attempt to get your child here before the late bell. Good school attendance and punctuality are both directly linked to future success in life
IMPORTANT REMINDER:
The Bogota School District will be closed on November 7th, 9th, and 10th.
Sincerely,
Christopher Albiez
BMS Principal

The Bogota Public Library Visits the 7th Grade
On October 23rd and 24th, Mr. Skrnich came to visit all 7th grade ELA classes. He spoke with students about the Bogota Public Library, providing useful information about how to navigate the BPL website and use the online card catalog/digital resources. He also demonstrated how to give book talks and spoke about several upcoming events/programs for teens at the library. Students then performed a classroom library scavenger hunt over the course of the week in order to find interesting books to kick off independent reading. If your child does not currently have a library card, please consider filling out a library card application here (https://bogotapubliclibrary.org/studentcards/). The library provides a wide variety of resources and services that can benefit our students!
